The business of wine

If you’re in the business of wine or fine food, the Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival is the place to broaden your knowledge and keep ahead of the world wine curve. We are Canada’s premier wine show and one of the biggest and best in North America.

The Trade Days program features eight trade-only events on Thursday, March 29 and Friday, March 30, seven of which take place at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The heart of the trade program is the Trade Tasting on Thursday and Friday afternoons. The wine pro will find 875 wines for sampling here – 158 wines that are unlisted and not yet available in this market plus, of course, all 717 wines that also are served at the public International Festival Tasting.

Other Trade Days events include an opening trade plenary featuring Michael Hill Smith, one of the world’s top authorities on Australian wines, several wine seminars, two very popular lunches and Trade Competitions awards presentations.
